Miss Myrtle Holmes became the bride of J. Harvey Meacham, son of Mrs. D. J. Meacham, Colby, at a ceremony performed Christmas Day at 1:30 o’clock by the Rev. Peter Holmes, at the home of the bride, in the presence of immediate relatives. Decorations for the occasion were in pink and yellow.
Miss Alice Holmes acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Roscoe Meacham as best man.
The bride was attired in a gown of light green flat crepe with black and gold trim, while the bridesmaid wore a dress of black and white crepe.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s father.
Mr. and Mrs. Meacham left on a short wedding trip and on their return will make their home at Colby.
